Attention Isn't Admiration

When I see men online fighting, acting tough, showing out, and taking penitentiary chances with their lives, I don't see strength. I see misguidedness, immaturity, and wasted time.

When I see women online twerking, getting drunk, getting high, and bragging about the adventures that ultimately destroy homes and families, I don't see freedom. I see misguidedness, immaturity, and wasted time.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I've learned that not everything that gets attention deserves admiration.

A lot of people are chasing views, clout, and temporary validation while pushing away the very things that could help them grow—discipline, wisdom, opportunity, respect, and accountability.
